The day after the wedding, we woke up bright and early (much to my dismay due to the late night), got ready to leave for breakfast, only to discover that the car battery is flat.

Le bf had jumper leads so he managed to get help from someone at the hotel. Deciding to give a chance for the battery to charge, we drove to Hunter Valley for breakfast instead of having it nearby. Found a nice place, parked, spent about an hour there, paid, went back to the car, and… battery flat AGAIN.

Now this is a memorable one.

Wedding was held around Newy, so we drove up, checked into the a hotel, got changed and, I put on my face, tamed my hair, stuffed my feet into torture devices… you know the drill.

The ceremony starts at 4pm followed by reception, we got there at about 3.30pm and, temperature was about 37 degrees. Since we didn’t know the people who were there, we hid in the car with the air conditioner on full blast till we spotted someone we knew.

Now, the wedding was held in an old water works, basically a historical building and, it looked amazing. Had a rustic feel to it with candles and fairy lights, nice dried gum tree leaves on stem scattered around candles on the tables, the vibe was amazing, the whole place basically looked good! Problem was, it didn’t have air conditioning, and they couldn’t turn on the fans because it was really loud. The ceremony was supposed to be held outside in this big open field with beautiful trees lining around but to was too warm to stay outside.

Long story short, I almost fainted at the worst time possible.

I passed!

Holy crap. I got so excited seeing my grade that I almost cried. I was hoping for just a pass but got a credit instead so either the paper was really hard and the whole cohort did badly thus they had to scale it or, I did really well for the MCQ to cover the sorry excuse I did for the short/long answer questions.

Either way, I passed my last module! Now on to adult-ing of mundane adult life :’)

Update 21/12/17 : // Not scammed! The person only posted it out on the 17th and I received it on the 19th. Phew.

Someone was selling a brand new 72 set Derwent watercolour pencils and I thought, why not? My set of 24 is rather limited and the 36 one doesn’t have the shades I wanted. The retail price is around 100 and she wanted 60 which seemed reasonable. (Shipping was another 10 dollars extra).

I was slightly paranoid when I saw all her items listed on gumtree was “Brand new” and it was all generic images of the product but I went ahead with it because trying to scam people with colour pencils and heaters seemed a bit…strange.

The next warning sign came when I requested paypal and she said she didn’t have it. Who in this day and age doesn’t have paypal?! But I realised my sister doesn’t have it so it is possible for someone to not have paypal in this day and age.

Anyway, I went on with the transaction, did a bank transfer, and asked if there would be tracking. She replied yes and that it would be provided once she posts it and… na da. Communication stopped. She was supposed to mail it by yesterday, latest, but I haven’t heard anything back. I figured she (who knows if it is even a she) might be busy but I am so worried.

50% chance I’m making a molehill out of nothing but this is so stressful.

Please don’t let it be a scam.
