So after being back for a month, my dad wants me to go back to Australia even though he’s the one that kept asking when I’m coming back, and that I should stay for longer this time.

Apparently, he is scared that the bf will be unhappy/bored, and that it’s about time I get a permanent job. (Or maybe he’s afraid that the bf will get a side chick or our love will fade because of time apart. Idk what goes through the head of my dad.)

So I guess I’ll be paying an extra 390 dollars to move my flight forward 3 weeks which is a total rip off. I should have booked from the airline directly and that could have saved me 140 dollars because third party site had an admin fee.

The day after the wedding, we woke up bright and early (much to my dismay due to the late night), got ready to leave for breakfast, only to discover that the car battery is flat.

Le bf had jumper leads so he managed to get help from someone at the hotel. Deciding to give a chance for the battery to charge, we drove to Hunter Valley for breakfast instead of having it nearby. Found a nice place, parked, spent about an hour there, paid, went back to the car, and… battery flat AGAIN.

Now this is a memorable one.

Wedding was held around Newy, so we drove up, checked into the a hotel, got changed and, I put on my face, tamed my hair, stuffed my feet into torture devices… you know the drill.

The ceremony starts at 4pm followed by reception, we got there at about 3.30pm and, temperature was about 37 degrees. Since we didn’t know the people who were there, we hid in the car with the air conditioner on full blast till we spotted someone we knew.

Now, the wedding was held in an old water works, basically a historical building and, it looked amazing. Had a rustic feel to it with candles and fairy lights, nice dried gum tree leaves on stem scattered around candles on the tables, the vibe was amazing, the whole place basically looked good! Problem was, it didn’t have air conditioning, and they couldn’t turn on the fans because it was really loud. The ceremony was supposed to be held outside in this big open field with beautiful trees lining around but to was too warm to stay outside.

Long story short, I almost fainted at the worst time possible.

I passed!

Holy crap. I got so excited seeing my grade that I almost cried. I was hoping for just a pass but got a credit instead so either the paper was really hard and the whole cohort did badly thus they had to scale it or, I did really well for the MCQ to cover the sorry excuse I did for the short/long answer questions.

Either way, I passed my last module! Now on to adult-ing of mundane adult life :’)
