Today, I went to watch Johnny English Reborn with my sister.

I found that it was a very good show and I recommend it anyone who just needs a good laugh…provided if you laugh while watching people walk and fall into/over things etc. If you don’t then the show might not be that entertaining for you.

For me, as far as I can remember, there was no boring parts at ALL. Well, at least I think there isn’t because I found myself laughing and laughing at Rowan Atkinson and his antics. Apparently, the cinema agrees with me. ( ^ 3 ^ )

The last time I laughed this much during a movie was hmm….a while ago. I think the movie was 7급 공무원 (My Girlfriend is an Agent). Sadly, my mom wasn’t a fan of it. She didn’t even watch it. I recommended it to her after my friends and I had a good time watching it but meh, guess she wasn’t a fan of Korean movies.

Oh, and I saw the trailer for Abduction and for a moment, just this one brief moment, from the corner of my eye, I saw Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall) but I obviously saw wrongly (Was distracted with how adorable Taylor Lautner looked) because she isn’t in the cast list.

Made me miss Harry Potter a bit ( v ^ v )

Looking at my archives, I realized I haven’t been blogging for months!

So, feeling bad about it, I decided to give my blog a change of clothes! (Meaning, new layout). T’was about time anyway.

Since exams are over too, I gave my quilt a fresh change of clothes as well as some mending and washing. I am currently awfully pleased with myself. If only I can get that Tumblr theme to work. Man, you won’t believe how many parts there is. I almost went crazy over it and decided to use a free theme instead after getting hopelessly lost in the mass of codes. Well, I did modify the free theme a teeny tiny bit. ^ 3 ^

Other than that, I have started to re-learn Japanese. I stopped like…a year ago because of..uh, well, I got annoyed and couldn’t understand why they needed three types of systems and a few days ago, I was packing up my cabinets and drawers and I found my old Japanese notes and I felt like taking it up again.

Yes I took it up on impulse and yes, I might stop randomly again but at least I am trying. This time, it seems much MUCH easier because surprisingly, I could remember my hiragana so it only took me a full day to re-fresh and remember the stroke order. So now, I am just left with katakana and kanji. Kanji shouldn’t be difficult at all because I know chinese and well, the meanings are about the same so I only have to know how to read those chinese characters in japanese! (I hope)

On a side note, I’ve got about 5 days of work. Kinda dreading it because its an event (Formula 1) and it gets crazy and as noisy as hell. High noise level causes stress which leads to me getting stressed and to be honest, I am terrified of offending someone unintentional during the last day.

On the bright side, the pay is rather good which means I can get my polaroid right after I am paid!

Exams are finally over and my holidays have started but I feel like it is going to end in an blink of an eye and school will start and work will just come crashing down.

Anywayz, I finally found time update my quilt. I gave it a new layout, tried mapping with it, made a new patch, organized and cleared dead links, images etc etc. I even made a thank you patch to go along. Those who requested to trade but I didn’t reply, I’m sorry. Please send another one? T ^ T

I kinda lost the mails. T ^ T

On the other hand, I have been baking! Well, more like experimenting. Did a Japanese cotton soft cheesecake a week or two ago, a butter cake a few days ago and a 5 hour long strawberry Fraisier today. I’m dead beat. Sadly, no pictures were taken since it didn’t turn out pretty and I didn’t have nice plates/backdrops to give it a photoshoot > 3 <

BUT! There’s always next time! When I get my Polaroid, I will probably re-bake and edit some ingredients and give it its own photoshoot so I can paste it in my recipe book which is currently still in my head. I have decide if I want it to be bounded loose sheets of paper with a hard cover or just a book with the cover decorated (like scrapbooking)

Being adventurous is not one of my traits.

Sure, I’ve been to different countries, seen different cultures and even saw homeless people just lying on the streets but that was hardly adventurous.

I’ve been on a viking ship before in the amusement park and from that day onwards, I hated rides. I didn’t fancy the feeling that felt like a plane going through some turbulence.

But I supposed if you look at the definition of adventurous in the dictionary, the part that says “Willing to take risks or to try out new methods, ideas, or experiences”, I guess I did try out something new.

Online dating. Okay, not really. I didn’t meet him on a dating site. Met him on a gaia forum.

Adventurous enough?

So, while most of my friends get hugs, kisses, dates and the whole nice package, I get…words. Soundless words. Unless you count the sound of the keyboard when you type.

But I still get presents every once in a while through snail mail. A little slow on the delivery side but I think it is better. It is the small little feeling you get when you receive an unexpected present in your mailbox.

It gets tough at times but it actually makes you understand a person more because all you can do is to talk. No hugs, no movie or dinner dates, no long walk in parks, no taking pictures together and stuff.

So, you basically have to talk about your day, who pissed you off, who annoyed you, or which new girl moved in next door and things like that.

And sometimes, he doesn’t have to see your face to know that you are upset or if you had a hard day. All he needs is your replies.

And from that, I learnt that you don’t have to meet someone in order to love that person.

And and, why I wrote this post was because of a challenge on QBee. It is called “The Great Bee*mee Derby” and yes, I get points for writing this post but that doesn’t mean I just wrote it for the sake of writing it. I actually did some reflections while typing this post up. (I know right, its like I don’t even know who I am anymore)

new love
Tastes pretty decent actually…okay, it might be a bit sweet for bitter coffee lovers.

Since nothing fancy has been going on in my life….I shall post some pictures of..bacteria.
Ho hum.

The Twins

Big Smile

Oh, side note, yesterday, I was on my way home after project meeting and since no one is going to be at home, I had to buy dinner and since I was grabbing dinner, I dropped by the book shop and bought some files and stuff.

Anywayz, I was tired and panting from my heavy bag, shopping bags and whatsnot and they just had to be planting trees on that stretch of road leading to my home. Well, trying to plant trees.

In fact, they were just getting the soil ready so what they had was piles and piles of fertilizers on that stretch of road.

Okay, so maybe it was just half the stretch of road because after the traffic light, there wasn’t any fertilizers to be seen. Sadly, it did not make a difference as the stench took over the entire street or something.

And it takes about 5-10 minutes walk from the train station so you can imagine my horrible journey back home. It kinda smelt like rotting cheese with a hint of a decomposing rat and salt to top it off.

Oh trust me, I KNOW how a decomposing rat smells like. You’ll be amazed at the amount of smell coming from that one tiny body.
