New phone. Waited 2 hours.

It was about time I had more than 16GB of memory. I mean, out of the 16, 4 is already used for iOS updates. 12GB might seem like it’s a lot but a few apps here, a few pictures there and suddenly, you’re faced with full memory.

Could have spent an extra 310 dollars for the iphone X but I don’t think I’ll be able to live without touchID and 300 dollars can buy me a lot of things.

Good morning 2018.

To new beginnings, experiences, and many more.
To not forgetting traditions, and creating more.

I hate airport goodbyes. (Mostly because you have to face the custom officers afterwards with red eyes and nose from crying.)

But today is day 1 of 84 without you. With the family moving houses and whatsnot, I think I’ll have tons of things to do which is good and honestly, it’s not too bad after the initial goodbye. I still get to talk to you everyday, and I get to spend time with friends and family.

Maybe not so much for you, facing an empty apartment. Sorry my love, next time, I’ll book a shorter trip or you could come with me when your work permits.

The day after the wedding, we woke up bright and early (much to my dismay due to the late night), got ready to leave for breakfast, only to discover that the car battery is flat.

Le bf had jumper leads so he managed to get help from someone at the hotel. Deciding to give a chance for the battery to charge, we drove to Hunter Valley for breakfast instead of having it nearby. Found a nice place, parked, spent about an hour there, paid, went back to the car, and… battery flat AGAIN.

Now this is a memorable one.

Wedding was held around Newy, so we drove up, checked into the a hotel, got changed and, I put on my face, tamed my hair, stuffed my feet into torture devices… you know the drill.

The ceremony starts at 4pm followed by reception, we got there at about 3.30pm and, temperature was about 37 degrees. Since we didn’t know the people who were there, we hid in the car with the air conditioner on full blast till we spotted someone we knew.

Now, the wedding was held in an old water works, basically a historical building and, it looked amazing. Had a rustic feel to it with candles and fairy lights, nice dried gum tree leaves on stem scattered around candles on the tables, the vibe was amazing, the whole place basically looked good! Problem was, it didn’t have air conditioning, and they couldn’t turn on the fans because it was really loud. The ceremony was supposed to be held outside in this big open field with beautiful trees lining around but to was too warm to stay outside.

Long story short, I almost fainted at the worst time possible.
